A Night in the City

Last weekend, Chris and I took time off from our guest bath renovation and treated ourselves to a night out in Boston. Whenever we stay overnight in the city, we like to stay at the Eliot Hotel. It is a boutique hotel in a great location and has a really amazing restaurant. A major bonus is that they allow pets, so Harry and Georgia were able to come with us. Yup, we're those people.

We splurged on a suite. I love the french doors that separate the bedroom from the living room area. This made me want to outfit our own bedroom with a large scale mirror behind the headboard and install a bed canopy.

The restaurant, Clio. Isn't the molding fantastic? It is hard to tell in this picture, but the rug is a leopard print. Me-ow.

The first time we stayed at the Eliot, we sat and had a drink at the bar. Of course, I had to ask the bartender if he knew the name of the wall color, but he only looked at me like I had two heads.  Oh well, it was worth a shot!
